On November 13, 2024, Space Innovation’s Interest Group for High Precision Space Mechanisms and Instruments hosted its much-anticipated roundtable event, bringing together top experts in the space sector for an insightful day of knowledge-sharing and networking.
This year’s event took place at the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HSLU), where attendees were treated to an informative tour of the campus, followed by engaging sessions and keynote presentations.
Highlights included:
– A tour of BIOTESC in Hergiswil, led by Magdalena Herova and Bernd Rattenbacher
– A deep dive into the new X-Y Antenna of the ground station with Marcel Joss
– Insights into HSLU’s mechanical engineering and digital engineering programs, presented by Gerhard S. Székely and Lukas Müller
– Presentations on AI applications and digital twins in space technology, delivered by Oliver Pineda Suárez
